Our brackets are made to achieve the most effective window installation solution to heat loss and provide energy efficiency for maximum R-value.  This is accomplished because there are no shims, therefore no voids in the insulation application.

FLEXIBLE
We’ve designed the bracket to be cut and modified for windows and exterior doors, therefore there is no thermal bridging.  The bracket is designed with an alignment “v” for quick fastening to the jamb extension, allowing for ½” drywall.

Window Installation Steps:

    • Cut bracket to desired length
    • Install brackets lining up “v” with the edge of window jamb extension
    • Place window in rough opening
    • Bend ends and fasten to framing studs

WINDOW JAMB EXTENSION CLIPS

When encountering previously installed windows with bowed window jamb extensions, caused by over insulating, the solution before installing the trim is to remove some of the insulation and straighten it out. This is where our Window Jamb Extension Clips deliver a complete solution to your problem.


Fasten the clip to the outside of the jamb extension and fasten the other end to the framing.

The clips stop the Jamb Extension from bowing when foam or fiberglass insulation is applied and there are no insulation voids.
